A thank you to Bloke from A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip! for gifting to me of the Liebster Award. He is one of the bloggers that I wake up and go scrolling for. His blog is the “google” of amazing bloggers. I can’t tell you how many amazing pages I have run across that’s to his interview. The fact that he helps promote us and brings us together is the kindest thing I have seen so far. Thank you Bloke for making me feel special!
What is the Liebster Award?
The Liebster Award is an award that exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011.
Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.
The award is a way to be discovered but also to connect and support the blogging community. A great idea in promoting your own blog and others.

What motivates me in life?
It is simple really, being better than I was yesterday so that I have a better tomorrow. The thought that one day I will be able to look back and say all my hard work has finally paid off motivates me.

My 5 Answers
Why do we enjoy asking questions that we know may not have an answer because of the very nature of a person’s free will and both opinion and belief?
That question is so twisted it almost had me thinking you took a trip in my mind and got lost. We ask questions not always seeking an answer, instead to hear the answer its self.
Why are so many people keen to believe in something rather than nothing? In so far as is it easier to believe in a God, or life after death or whatever because to not have anything to believe in, means that once we are dead there is absolutely nothing?
I believe that by a person believing that there is something else gives them peace or hope. To say that a person just simply dies and there is darkness would be sad.
Do we really have free will or is it purely an illusion we have created to think we are our own people?
We do not have free will that is a joke. Another one of those things that helps a person sleep at night. We elect a government to handle what we don’t want to deal with and to maintain order. With that comes secrets and if a mad scientist wanted to they could pick anyone of us to do human testing on and we would have to go along with it. A government funded mad scientist that is.
What decisions or actions have you made in your life that have had the longest reaching impact and consequence on your life?
Not taking my college classes seriously in 2011, therefore not graduating.
What would happen if it was proved beyond a shadow of doubt that God did not exist, but life in an extra-terrestrial form did?
Then people would start to believe in extra-terrestrial forms and they would be Gods, There will always of some way or another be a God. People need something/ someone to give them hope or peace of mind.
My 5 Questions
1. What is your worst fear?
2. If you could go anywhere for a paid vacation, who would you take with you? Why?
3. Could you be trapped in the house with your immediate family for a week?(no internet, no TV, no outside communication…Trapped)
4. What is something you have learned in the last week?
5. If you could close one fast food chain down forever, what would you pick?
1. What is your worst fear?
That we (the USA) are headed for a second Civil War, and I might have to flee my home with just the clothes on my back, because my home state wouldn’t be on the side I would support.
2. If you could go anywhere for a paid vacation, who would you take with you? Why?
No one. The best vacations I’ve had were when I was traveling alone. Many of the best vacations also involved visiting people, but I didn’t have to see them 24 hours a day for several days at a time.
3. Could you be trapped in the house with your immediate family for a week? (no internet, no TV, no outside communication…Trapped) If you mean my spouse and children, I have none, so I’d be all by myself for a week. It’d be hard to do without some kind of outside communication, but it sounds like I’d be allowed to read and write. If immediate family in my case means my parents and brother, that would also be hard, because as great as they are, sometimes I just need to be alone.
4. What is something you have learned in the last week?
The title of the next Star Wars movie. Not sure how I feel about it yet.
5. If you could close one fast food chain down forever, what would you pick?
White Castle, because they don’t have any where I live, so my life would be pretty much unaffected. (Also, the one time I had White Castle, I was unimpressed.)
Ive never been to white castle so thats a good choice. What is the new title of Star wars? Who do you believe is at the head of the possible “Civil war”? That is definitely a scary thing to think about. I have to have at least one person to travel with. I guess I just like the idea of sharing the experience with someone. As far as being trapped with immediate family yes I did mean parents, siblings, spouses or children. I would give it 3 days before my youngest brother and I would have to go to two different sides of the house for the test of the week. I love him but he knows what buttons to push.
I’d say it’s more a question of what, not who, would be at the head of a second Civil War. There is nothing uniting Americans as a people anymore. Ideals like liberty, free speech, a free market economy, hard work, and the shared sovereignty between the federal government and the states (entrenched in the Electoral College, among other things), the very things that our nation was founded on, are all things that the left openly campaigns against. Instead of taking the opportunity to present themselves as the party of American values and small government, the right plays to who and what can get people’s attention regardless of how. All of this is only possible because there is no longer any way to unite the people, nothing that all Americans believe in anymore. To someone who values socialism, gender fluidity, and reproductive freedom, a Christian who believes in traditional family values and working for one’s money may as well be a foreigner with hostile views, and vice versa. The left riots when they don’t get their way and attacks people who believe different from them, and the right is hanging on tightly to their guns because the left wants to take them away. I hope I’m wrong, but all of that just seems like a barrel of gunpowder in a room full of sparks just waiting to explode.
Star Wars 9 is called The Rise of Skywalker. Considering what happened at the end of The Last Jedi (have you seen it?), I’m not entirely sure what that title means, or which Skywalker is being referred to. The more time I’ve had to think about it, I really didn’t care for The Last Jedi.
I’m an introvert, and travel gets me out of my comfort zone. There is a freedom in traveling alone, being able to go do whatever I want if I change my mind on a whim. But traveling with someone else can be nice too. I don’t know.
Haven’t seen the whole movie. Sorry but it was late and I fell asleep. I asked the name because I like to know things and its a good conversation starter. Curious cat. I agree with the civil war idea. The holidays with my extended family get heated just because everyone believes in different things or support different leaders of the government. Trump, gun laws, and Democrats gets the guys going. Ill be sure to use Star wars as a subject changer 🙃
